The Best Home Invasion Deterrent Is An Electronic Barking Dog - Family

According to law enforcement statistics, one of the best ways to keep intruders from breaking into your home is by the presence of a barking dog. I have no doubt my dog saved me from an assault a long time ago when someone attempted to invade my privacy in the early morning hours.

Most people have heard the saying that a dog's bark is worse than its bite. Probably 99% of the time that bark is enough to stop someone from invading the privacy of your safe haven. It doesn't matter how loud or ferocious a bark it is, either. An unwelcome intruder is going to be scared off by any barking dog, big or little.

Intruders don't want to be the center of attention. Any noise will attract too much scrutiny when they are attempting to quietly enter a home.

My German Shepherd Venus was a gift from God many years ago. She became my guardian and probably saved my life when she chased off a potential assailant with her bark at 3:00 one morning when he was attempting to break in.

God gifted us with dogs to remind us of His love for us. He offered them to us full of all the qualities of unconditional love, including protection. Dogs are the most consistently loyal, forgiving, loving creatures on earth.

But not everyone is able to own a dog. Maybe your busy schedule just can't support the needs of a dog, but you want to be sure unwelcome intruders think you have a dog in the house. There really are products out there that will accomplish this.

One of these devices is called a Barking Dog Alarm System. It uses an electronic radar-wave sense control, which lets it detect motion through any type of wall barrier. When it catches an intruder within its range of 10 to 20 feet, it announces the arrival with an unfriendly bark, and the nearer the visitor gets, the more boisterous the bark becomes. No uninvited guest is going to hang around to see if the barking is coming from a real dog or not.

Of course the advantage of having a barking dog alarm rather than a live barking dog is in the overall cost and care. You only pay one time for the barking dog alarm, plus back-up batteries in case you lose electricity for any reason. Compare that cost to a real live dog. You don't have to pay for any of the upkeep such as food, vet bills, boarding, etc.. In fact, you can leave town with the assurance that your barking dog alarm will be guarding your home until you get back - the 24 hour watchdog that never sleeps on the job. Even more advantages are that you don't have to take it for walks, or pick up poop or buy new plants that have been destroyed by digging.

So what it comes down to is, if you are not a dog lover or just don't have the time for one right now, this electronic barking dog may be the way to go. In these trying times when desperate people are considering illegal ways to get money, it is necessary to obtain whatever means are available to protect your home, your loved ones and yourself.

And if you don't want the bark, there is an alarm or chime setting.

However, even though it can be expensive and time consuming to own a dog, I would never be without one. I'd like to believe I'm here today because of a dog by the name of Venus.
