As you probably already appreciate, German shepherds are not small dogs which must be kept under control. So German shepherd training is vital from when they are young.
I adopted Sheba, my 56 week old German shepherd, when she was just 2 months old.
I can't lie to you, she was hard work immediately from the outset!
If I left anything hanging around, I would find it would be chewed up or I'd discover it in the yard. I found out pretty fast that I would have to train her quickly before she ruined my house.
