One thing to remember about training a german shepherd dog is that these dogs are extremely active, which means they need a lot of exercise in order have the mental calmness to train easily. The German shepherd is in the working breed of dogs and they have very active minds, but without the proper amount of exercise, they can seem like their minds are scattered.
